
Ruth Allen
Ruth is the owner and Clinical Director at Balance Twenty One.
She obtained an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Southampton in 2009, having previously qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Sciences from the University of Limerick.
In 2009 she returned to Ireland to take up a position in Killarney Physiotherapy & Sports Science Clinic. She became co-owner of this practice in 2012, before going on to establish her own private physiotherapy practice in 2013, Kerry Physiotherapy Centre.
Ruth has completed extensive post-graduate training in a number of areas. She is a qualified Rehabilitative Pilates Instructor, having completed comprehensive training with Polestar International UK. In early 2021 she also graduated from Reformation Yoga in Dublin as a qualified yoga instructor.
Ruth is well known in Kerry for her involvement in GAA. She worked within the Kerry inter-county set up for over 10 years, providing services to the Kerry Senior, U-21 and Junior teams. Over the years she has worked numerous other clubs in the area, including East Kerry GAA, Spa GAA and Dromid Pearses GAA to name a few.
Ruth is a qualified Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with CORU and the ISCP (Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists).
